Snow Summit

"Got the opportunity to take my family to Big Bear the week before Christmas. I got the opportunity to teach my babies and nephew how to snowboard. Snow Summit is a perfect place to teach them. We thought we were not going to be able snowboard when we first arrived. Luckily Snow Summit had man made snow on different levels to enjoy some slopes. Great staff, amazing place."

"Lovely day at snow Summit. More suitable crowd here for 40-60-year-olds and families. Bear Mountain has a pretty young boisterous, gang over there. They’ve only been able to make the snow with the machines because it’s been a dismal year for natural snow. Not all the runs are open and they’re still charging full price, which is absolutely ridiculous. Slopes get crowded people get knocked over. It’s just unsafe and overpriced. "Great place for winter sports. We were there in December and it hadn't snowed yet, but the mountains had plenty of snow from the snow groomers, perfect for skiing or snowboarding. The staff is very friendly, especially the people who greet you at the entrance, they got all the information you need!! We took a family lesson with Megan; lesson was in Spanish and she was very patient. They have food options and a clothing store with a good selection...."
