"Got the opportunity to take my family to Big Bear the week before Christmas. I got the opportunity to teach my babies and nephew how to snowboard. Snow Summit is a perfect place to teach them. We thought we were not going to be able snowboard when we first arrived. Luckily Snow Summit had man made snow on different levels to enjoy some slopes. Great staff, amazing place."

"I brought my family to snow summit a few weeks ago. My kids and I had a blast. Ages, 6 and 11. I was worried it might be too much for them but we had so much FUN! The tubing was great, snow ball fights, making many snowmen. It didn’t disappoint. We also took the lift up but didn’t ski down because we aren’t trained but also because it wasn’t open. The staff was awesome! It got a little crowded..."

"Lovely day at snow Summit. More suitable crowd here for 40-60-year-olds and families. Bear Mountain has a pretty young boisterous, gang over there. They’ve only been able to make the snow with the machines because it’s been a dismal year for natural snow. Not all the runs are open and they’re still charging full price, which is absolutely ridiculous. Slopes get crowded people get knocked over. It’s just unsafe and overpriced. I mean come on, everyone should be able to..."

"Great place for winter sports. We were there in December and it hadn't snowed yet, but the mountains had plenty of snow from the snow groomers, perfect for skiing or snowboarding. The staff is very friendly, especially the people who greet you at the entrance, they got all the information you need!! We took a family lesson with Megan; lesson was in Spanish and she was very patient. They have food options and a clothing store with a good selection...."

"Where do I start?! I have to sing the highest of praises to Megan, Zac, and Daniel! Zac in rentals at Snow Summit was the absolute best person you’d want to interact with when renting gear. The most patient and informative person you’d meet. Educated me on the profile of different boards, my size, and took the time to pull out maybe 20 different boards, and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I wanted to move up from my ancient..."

"I was just here to chaperone my school's ski and snowboard club. Kids had a blast. One kid got a minor injury, and the staff were great about assessing, keeping her calm, and take care of her medical needs."

"The prices are not cheap, but I’d say it’s worth it because the quality of experience is high. I’ve been coming here for around 20 years, and every staff member has always been friendly and welcoming. And no beef between boarders or skiers here. Everyone is here for the same reason - having a great time on the slopes and at the bar. Food quality is high with prices reasonable. My Sunday lift ticket cost $162.18, and my tasty 3..."
